Crisp Autumn Apple Cider

Experience the crisp breeze and rustling leaves of an autumn orchard with this Crisp Autumn Apple Cider. The tart sweetness of apples melds with the warm hint of cinnamon in a drink that warms your body and soul.

Ingredients 10 fresh apples 1/2 cup of sugar 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon WaterInstructions Core and quarter the apples, but do not peel them.

Place the apples in a large pot and add enough water to cover them.

Bring the water to a boil, then reduce heat and let it simmer until apples are soft.

 

Mash the apples and strain the liquid through a cheesecloth or fine-mesh strainer.

Return the liquid to the pot, add sugar and cinnamon, and simmer for another 10 minutes.
